Bereavement
If you're reading this after the loss of a baby, we want to express our deepest condolences. Losing a baby at any stage of pregnancy is incredibly heartbreaking, and we're here to offer you the support you may need during this difficult time.
What support you can expect from your GP
The bereavement midwife notifies the GP surgery of a pregnancy loss or termination via secure email, detailing complications and required follow-up, prompting the GP to contact the patient within 7 days to offer a well-being appointment and manage any necessary follow-up.
