Health Screening Programmes
Cancer Screening
The NHS offers national cancer screening programmes to help detect early signs of breast, cervical, and bowel cancers. These free screenings aim to identify cancer early, when treatment is more likely to be successful. Invitations are sent automatically based on age and eligibility. Taking part in screening could save your life.

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening
The NHS offers a free screening programme to detect abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) in men aged 65 and over. AAA screening is a quick, painless ultrasound scan that can identify a bulge or swelling in the aorta, which could be life-threatening if it bursts. Men are automatically invited for screening in their 65th year, and those over 65 can self-refer. Early detection saves lives.
